Shrimp with oyster sauce

 Shrimp with oyster sauce

Preparation time: 10 minutes 
Cooking time: 10 minutes

                     

Ingredients (serves 4): 

- 500 g fresh shrimp 
- 4 tablespoons of oyster sauce 


- 2 shallots 

- 1 teaspoon cornstarch 

- 12 ounces of water 

- 1/2 teaspoon soy sauce 

- 1 clove of garlic 


- 3 tablespoons vegetable oil


Preparation of the recipe: 

Starts with dehulled shrimp, to slit the back to remove the black filament. 

Saute shrimp with oil, (they open in "butterfly") for 5 minutes, then book aside. 

In the same oil, fry the chopped shallots beforehand. 

Meanwhile, in a bowl mix the oyster sauce, water and cornstarch and pour over onions. 

Add chopped garlic and soy sauce and shrimp. 

Please note that the sauce thickens quickly !!
