Chicken Pastilla


For 6 Person
ingredients :

12 sheets of brick 
1 chicken 
400 g of onions 
5 sprigs of cilantro 
5 sprigs of parsley 
1 c. soup spoon of cinnamon powder 
2 c. tablespoons honey 
50 g of butter 
4 c. tablespoons olive oil 
a little icing sugar 
salt and pepper
Preparation:
  • Bone the chicken and chop the flesh coarsely.
  • Wash, dry , thin out and chop parsley and cilantro.
  • Peel and finely chop the onions.
  • Heat the oil in a casserole , add the meat and chopped onions and brown .
  • Add the parsley mixture / coriander and cinnamon.
  • Drizzle with honey, salt and pepper, mix well.
  • Pour a little water in the bottom of the pan , lower the heat to low and cook 30 minutes, stirring occasionally and delivering a little water during cooking if necessary.
  • Preheat the oven gas mark 6 (180 ° C).
  • Melt the butter and brush on the filo pastry (you can also do it with egg yolk ) .
  • Ask half of filo pastry on top of each other on a sheet of parchment paper.
  • Pour the chicken mixture in the center and spread it up to 2 inches from the edge of filo pastry .
  • Fold edge of pastry over the filling and place over the remaining sheets of pastry .
  • Fold the edges underneath.
  • Bake 15 to 20 minutes , until the pastilla is golden brown.
  • Remove the pastilla the oven, sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar.
  • Serve immediately .
