Blanquette of Veal


Preparation time: 15 minutes
Cooking time: 120 minutes

  • Ingredients (for 4 people):
- 1 kg veal stew
- 1 cube of chicken broth
- 1 cube of vegetable broth
- 2 or 3 carrots
- 1 large onion
- 1 small can of mushrooms (cut)
- 1 small pot of cream
- Lemon juice
- 1 egg yolk
- flour
- 25 cl of white wine

  • Preparation of the recipe:

Brown meat in butter until the pieces are lightly browned. Sprinkle 2 tablespoons of flour.

Stir well. Add 2 or 3 cups of water and stir.

Add 2 bouillon cubes. Add wine and cover with water.

Cut the sliced ​​carrots and onions, then add them and mushrooms.

Simmer over low heat about 1:30 to 2:00 stirring.

If necessary, add water from time to time.

In a bowl, mix the cream, egg yolk and lemon juice. Add this mixture to the last moment, stir well and serve immediately.

Notes:
Serve with rice. Very simple recipe
